Our Stallions

Stallions have played an important part in the beginnings of the Cutting Edge Equestrian breeding programme.

Although we don't currently stand any stallions to the public, we started our stud using our own stallions, CE Sir Fidermeyer (Sir Fidergold x Weltmeyer) and CE Jetialo IS (Apache x Edison). Both have played a part in establishing the horses and bloodlines we are now building on.

Our plans for the future are to hopefully stand stallions that we have bred ourselves.

For us, that is an exciting part of the long-term picture. We want to be able to follow our breeding programme from the original mare and stallion choices, through the foals and young horses they produce, and hopefully into the next generation of Cutting Edge stallions.

We're in no rush to stand a stallion just for the sake of it. The horses we choose to keep entire will need to prove themselves to us first — not only through their talent and athletic ability, but through their temperament, trainability and the qualities they can hopefully pass on.

We are currently focused on breeding and developing the next generation of Cutting Edge horses, and we hope that amongst them will be future stallions that we will be proud to stand.
