CE Fürst Unique Love, known at home as Flo, is a homebred filly by Fürst Romancier out of CE So You Think You Can Dance, by So Unique out of a Londonderry mare, and full sister to CE Fürst Unique Romance (Louis). Combining established Fürst Romancier and Florestan blood with the modern So Unique–Sezuan line, Flo has an exciting pedigree with considerable dressage quality on both sides. We are very much looking forward to watching her develop and seeing what the future holds for her.

CE Fürst Unique Love, known at home as Flo, is by Fürst Romancier out of CE So You Think You Can Dance, by So Unique out of a Londonderry mare. A full sister to CE Fürst Unique Romance (Louis), Flo brings together established German dressage breeding with some of the most exciting modern young-horse bloodlines.

Her sire, Fürst Romancier, is by Florestan I out of a Romancier mare and has established an important reputation within dressage breeding. Successful himself as a young horse, he went on to become particularly influential through his offspring, producing numerous licensed stallions, premium mares and successful dressage horses.

Through Fürst Romancier, Flo carries the influence of Florestan I, one of the most important dressage sires of his generation. Florestan was successful as a young horse before becoming enormously influential through his progeny, and his blood continues to feature throughout modern dressage pedigrees. This gives Flo an established foundation of proven breeding on her sire's side.

Flo's dam, CE So You Think You Can Dance, introduces a particularly exciting modern line through So Unique. So Unique demonstrated exceptional quality from a young age, becoming Bundeschampion as a three-year-old before going on to become World Champion for five-year-old dressage horses.

So Unique is by Sezuan, whose own young-horse record was exceptional. Sezuan became World Young Horse Champion at five, six and seven years old, an extraordinary achievement that was followed by considerable influence as a breeding stallion. Behind Sezuan sits Zack, who competed internationally at Grand Prix, represented Denmark at championship level and became an important sire in his own right.

There is further depth on the maternal side through Flo's granddam, who is by Londonderry. By the Thoroughbred stallion Lauries Crusador xx, Londonderry became an influential Hanoverian breeding stallion and adds another dimension to the pedigree. The presence of Lauries Crusador xx introduces valuable Thoroughbred blood alongside the predominantly warmblood dressage lines elsewhere in Flo's pedigree.

This gives Flo an interesting combination of Fürst Romancier–Florestan on her sire's side with So Unique–Sezuan–Zack and Londonderry–Lauries Crusador xx through her dam. It combines established dressage families with more modern young-horse blood and a valuable Thoroughbred influence further back in the pedigree.

As the full sister to CE Fürst Unique Romance (Louis), Flo also gives us the opportunity to see this combination develop in two individual horses. While they share exactly the same pedigree, we are particularly interested in seeing the different qualities each sibling inherits and how those develop as they mature.

As a filly, Flo also has the potential to become particularly important to our breeding programme in the future. Our first priority, however, is to allow her to grow and develop into an individual in her own right. Any future decisions around breeding will be based on the quality, temperament and ability she demonstrates as she matures.

With the depth of dressage breeding behind her and the opportunity to compare her development with that of her full brother, Flo is an exciting young mare for the future. We look forward to producing her carefully and seeing where her own qualities take her, both in sport and potentially as part of the next generation of our breeding programme.
