Alice in Wonderland is an attractive mare with a strong, powerful hindleg and a lovely temperament. Combining quality, athleticism and a willing attitude, she has the attributes we value in our breeding programme.

We bred one foal from Alice, by CE Florisou, before making the decision to sell her as she hadn't reached the height we had anticipated.

Following her sale, Alice went on to compete successfully at 1.20m showjumping before becoming a first horse, demonstrating her versatility and wonderful temperament.

Alice in Wonderland is an attractive, athletic mare with a strong, powerful hindleg and a lovely temperament. She combines quality and natural ability with a kind, willing attitude, making her a pleasure to work with.

Alice is by Medoc, a son of Maat I, out of Clarise, whose sire, Lord David S, was a Thoroughbred by Nijinsky. Her pedigree brings together warmblood and Thoroughbred bloodlines, with an interesting combination of sport horse breeding and racing heritage.

Medoc was a Hanoverian stallion born in 1990, standing at approximately 16.3hh. He was by Maat I out of Georgia, a daughter of Goldfinger, bringing together established Hanoverian bloodlines including Gotthard and Absatz.

Originally selected by the German commission for the state stud at Celle, Medoc completed a 300-day performance test and was subsequently approved by several British sport horse studbooks. He combined elastic movement, jumping ability and a good temperament, and produced offspring for both dressage and showjumping. He also competed himself in Grade A and B showjumping and Advanced Medium dressage.
