CE D’Acampo’s Courage is a homebred filly by CE Jetialo IS out of CE Ekurante, and full sister to CE D’Acampo’s Pride. A bright, athletic young mare with an exciting future ahead of her, Courage was awarded Elite at the 2026 BEF Futurity. She has been retained with the hope of producing her for competition alongside becoming an important future broodmare within our breeding programme.

CE D’Acampo’s Courage is a homebred filly by CE Jetialo IS out of CE Ekurante and full sister to CE D’Acampo’s Pride. Retained by us, Coco is an exciting part of the next generation of our breeding programme and is now progressing through her early education.

Her sire, CE Jetialo IS, was by Apache out of an Edison mare, giving Courage an interesting combination of proven dressage and jumping performance. Apache competed internationally at Grand Prix with Emmelie Scholtens, including representing the Netherlands at the 2018 World Equestrian Games, and went on to become an important sire of international dressage horses. His offspring include World Young Horse Champion Jovian, Indian Rock and Grand Galaxy Win. Apache was himself by UB40 out of a Krack C mare, adding further generations of established Dutch dressage breeding.

On the dam side of Jetialo’s pedigree, Edison competed at 1.60m showjumping. This gives Courage’s paternal pedigree a valuable combination of international dressage performance alongside genuine top-level jumping ability, something we particularly liked about Jetialo’s breeding.

Coco’s dam, CE Ekurante, is by Warkant van ’t Gestelhof out of a Jazz mare. Warkant van ’t Gestelhof was by Olympic Ferro and competed through to Grand Prix dressage. He was also notably versatile, demonstrating his ability over fences and winning a Z-level 1.30m stallion jumping competition. His dam, Oreal van ’t Gestelhof, was by Furioso Z and also produced the 1.60m showjumper Turbo van ’t Gestelhof, adding further proven jumping performance close within the pedigree.

Further back, Jazz brings another significant dressage influence. Having competed internationally at Grand Prix himself, Jazz became one of the most important stallions in Dutch dressage breeding, with numerous offspring reaching the highest levels of the sport.

Coco’s pedigree therefore brings together international Grand Prix dressage with genuine jumping performance to 1.60m. It is a combination of movement, athleticism and versatility that we particularly value and hope to continue within our breeding programme.

Our long-term plan for Coco is to give her the opportunity to fulfil both sides of that role. We hope to produce her for competition alongside retaining her as a future broodmare, allowing her to establish her own performance record while also contributing to the next generation of CE horses. She is already long-reining confidently, and we are really looking forward to seeing what she can achieve both in sport and, in time, as a broodmare.
