CE Jibber Jabberwockey is a tall, modern sports horse with a lot of range and a lovely temperament.
By CE Florisou, out of Alice in Wonderland. He enjoyed a successful dressage career whilst with us, competing up to Elementary level and at British Dressage Regional Championships, before being sold to one of our amateur clients.
CE Jibber Jabberwockey is by our own stallion CE Florisou, out of Alice in Wonderland, bringing together an interesting combination of dressage, jumping and Thoroughbred bloodlines.
His sire line includes Apache, the influential KWPN stallion by UB 40 out of Tolanda, by Krack C. Renowned for his expressive movement, powerful hindleg and natural presence, Apache enjoyed a successful international Grand Prix career under Emmelie Scholtens, representing the Netherlands at the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon. His influence as a breeding stallion has been equally significant, producing successful dressage horses including Jovian, Indian Rock and Grand Galaxy Win. Awarded the prestigious KWPN Keur predicate in 2019 and Preferent predicate posthumously in 2021, Apache has established a lasting influence on modern dressage breeding.
Through his dam, Alice in Wonderland, Jibber Jabberwockey carries the blood of Medoc, a Hanoverian stallion by Maat I out of Georgia, by Goldfinger. Medoc was selected for the German State Stud at Celle and completed a 300-day stallion performance test before gaining approval with several British sport horse studbooks. Combining elastic movement, jumping ability and a good temperament, he enjoyed a competitive career in both dressage and showjumping, reaching Advanced level dressage and Grade B showjumping. His pedigree also incorporates the influential Hanoverian bloodlines of Gotthard and Absatz, bringing further depth to Jibber Jabberwockey's maternal heritage.
Further back in his pedigree, the Oldenburg stallion Sion and the Thoroughbred influence of Lord David S, a son of Nijinsky, add another dimension to his breeding.
Together, these bloodlines combine established Grand Prix dressage performance, proven jumping ability and Thoroughbred heritage. Jibber Jabberwockey's own career, competing at British Dressage Regional Championship level up to Elementary, demonstrates the versatility of this breeding combination.
